Our owner carries the title of Chief Behavioral Technologist. He does not claim to be an expert in anything. We do have an Advisory Board that includes a diverse set of experts that we rely on to help us enrich patient and provider experiences across the continuum of healthcare delivery. All companies can agree that occasionally business needs change and sometimes difficult decisions need to be made. GoMo Health takes employee retention seriously, and when business needs change we consider all options that allow us to retain our employees. However, that is not always possible and sometimes we have to make difficult decisions. It’s the reality of running a business. GoMo Health fosters an environment that encourages learning and growth and we strive for all of our employees to succeed. Our employees have access to thousands of free online courses to help them develop their skills and gain knowledge. We have an ongoing system in place for performance improvement to aid those who may be struggling. Performance issues are brought to the employee’s attention immediately and they are given a chance to improve utilizing a customized remediation plan. The employee is supported along the way by their manager and HR to help them succeed in their remediation. That being said, when it comes to an employee’s annual review, nothing discussed should come as a surprise. The employee would already be aware of any issues and have already had a chance to correct them with their remediation plan. We don’t believe in giving employees good marks just to make them feel good, we want their reviews to be accurate to give them the best chance to grow and learn.
