Pros

Salary based compensation and holidays/paid time off

Cons

Company doesn't make the effort to make employees feel valued, higher ups could care less, barely any support and very cliquey. Definitely play favorites

Pros

The kids are amazing.... but they aren't getting quality care.

Cons

They lure you in with the promise of full BCBA oversight and a salary rate, both are BS. The center has no current BCBA as they can't find one to work the long hours for such horrible pay, instead they have a "Head teacher" handling the training and day to day who's highest credential is RBT. I was promised in the interview process that the BCBA would be available to ensure growth and development, in my 1 month there I was "supervised" by the BCBA for 1 hour.... and that 1 hour was me watching him run programs with a client at the end of the day. This BCBA is also the regional director in charge of 5 centers.... hes never around and when he is hes on the phone or in the office on the computer. Actual face time or supervision doesn't exist. Not once was there a check in, progress report or opportunity to clarify any of the programming without going through the glorified RBT/ "Head Teacher". I was fully open and receptive to contstructive critisism as my goal was to improve as a RBT, not once was I given any guidance or mentorship and any questions i had resulted in the "head teacher" texting the BCBA and relying the message back to me.... which often lead to misinterpretation. The BCBA exhibited questionable decision making skills by allowing BT's and children to be in the center while there was NO POWER OR HEAT, in late November during a rain storm. It was illegal and dangerous to allow children in the classroom that was dark and had no heat. I later was told that the call was based on "ensuring HOH gets paid because insurance won't pay if the kids don't recieve services". Multiple children were visibly ill (fevers, runny green snot, coughs etc) but we were told that unless they vomited or had diarrhea, we couldn't call the parents to pick them up. In my 1 month there, everybody including the clients was sick at 1 point or another. Because there was no BCBA at the clinic and I had received NO TRAINING FROM HAND OVER HAND AS PROMISED I was eventually let go with the BS excuse of "Not properly performing the job description"..... which im not sure how the regional director would even know because I had NO OVERSIGHT!!! This place is an absolute joke and everything wrong with the ABA industry. No oversight, no compassion for employees, unfair treatment of clients and really horroble pay. Maybe this is why they are always frantically trying to keep their head above water when it comes to staff turn around. Maybe don't let a glorified RBT who hardly looks up from her phone handle the abysmal "training" sessions and start caring about your employees. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST IF YOU'RE ACTUALLY IN ABA TO HELP PEOPLE.

Pros

None. Maybe the families. But they’re definitely not getting quality services. Quantity over quality at this company.

Cons

Owners only care about opening new centers. Don’t care about being short staffed for MONTHS. Kids aren’t getting appropriate services bc they’re short staffed so they are never in 1:1 and always in dyads. Owners never come in to observe what goes on. Management is spread thin. Don’t work here. Don’t send your kids here.
