Pros
Unfortunately, my experience with the company has been a complete disappointment. While the business initially showed promise when it was re-established in mid-July, things started to decline after the first few months. Once certain leadership dynamics became more prominent, particularly influenced by family involvement, the work environment and company direction shifted for the worse. The early progress and positive momentum were soon overshadowed by internal management issues, leading to a lack of professionalism, transparency, and clear direction. It’s a shame, as the company had potential, but these leadership dynamics have greatly impacted both morale and productivity.
Cons
The company struggles with deep-rooted issues at the leadership level, driven in part by family dynamics. Although some members of management may seem professional in public, their actions behind the scenes contribute to a toxic work environment. It is not uncommon for leadership to speak negatively about employees to clients and other staff members, leading to distrust and a significant lack of transparency. There is also a general lack of productivity and accountability among certain leaders, who appear more focused on irrelevant commentary than actual business contributions. This results in rampant gossip and misinformation, which severely damages the company’s morale and overall workplace culture. Junior staff members in key roles seem more interested in aligning themselves with upper management rather than addressing real business challenges. This worsens the already unprofessional atmosphere, making it difficult for employees to excel or grow. In terms of project management, the company consistently takes on too many projects without finishing those already in progress. Instead of hiring experienced professionals, they rely heavily on interns, which leads to inefficiency, missed deadlines, and poor project outcomes. From a UI/UX and front-end development perspective, there is no structure or capacity for proper training. Designers are often placed under back-end developers, leading to a disconnect where design decisions are overruled during the development process. Despite introducing modern UI/UX concepts and stressing the importance of user-centered design, these ideas have not been adopted. Promises made to employees—whether related to benefits or career advancement—are frequently unfulfilled. The company has a pattern of offering benefits after a certain period, only to change the conditions when the time comes to deliver. Here’s how the process often works: Initial Promise: At the start, employees are guaranteed certain benefits after a specific period. End of Period: When that period is over, management raises previously unmentioned conditions or finds excuses. Denial of Benefit: They claim the employee is ineligible due to reasons that were never communicated before, making their promises feel deceptive. This recurring pattern of misleading promises creates a highly untrustworthy and frustrating work environment. If a 0-star rating were possible, it would be deserved.
