Met cool coworkers and the customers were mostly nice!

Cons

Surveillance is crazy, management makes up rules randomly sometimes legally questionable- probably would be sued by now if it wasn’t for the arbitration agreement you sign when you get hired

- coworkers. Everyone here is struggling to make ends meet.

Cons

Where to start... management is selfish, owner cares more about franchise expansion over taking care of their employees (free food for employees has reportedly been removed completely), you're secretly micromanaged, owner contributes to local gentrification, pay is absolutely minimal, etc.

-"Discounted Food." Can hardly afford to purchase the food they serve on the salaries they give. -Will come up with a BS reason to fire you if they just don't like you! Saw so many people let go left and right for the most arbitrary reason. They blow through employees FAST here -On day ONE of working at Homestate, coworkers were telling jokes about how they were so ready to leave. Should've been a red flag! -Expect the world of you for just mere peanuts in compensation. Always about the aesthetic and the "Instagram quality" of the food -Managers do not care about your personal schedule even if you tell them ahead of time-they will still work you on your scheduled off days. -Some weeks only got scheduled 25 hours when I was promised 40
