- Probably my favorite place to work, ever - Very high level of freedom - The work is interesting and you get a lot of visibility if you are on the open-source side - Colleagues are smart and very, very helpful!

- Sometimes, especially when starting out, it's hard to know what to work on, given that you can work on anything!

I've never worked with such an awesome group of people. I have freedom, flexibility and it challenges me to get better every single day. Machine learning is one of the most impactful technology paradigm switch of the decade and we have the ability to positively impact the world with the leading platform.

Best place I've worked so far for the following reasons: - Very cool and important mission - Everyone on the team is very bright and hardworking - Lots of flexibility and fully remote - Big believers in work-life balance (company is run by Europeans)

Collaborate with some of the smartest and driven people I've ever met. Work is fun and engaging. Work in a dynamic, growing field. Distributed team spread across the world. Flexible schedule and bias towards async communication.

If you like to be left alone this is the place for you. No one will ask you to do 1:1 or care what you do. Or even ask what you do. If you have a strong following on twitter or LinkedIn you are in .

They have no product to sell. All of their revenue is through partners who are desperate to attach their names to the brand. They have no product. The company sells services to large enterprises who might need help with their free downloaded model. It’s not a business model that will life up to its valuation. The cofounders do not communicate with their team, set goals, they just make outlandish predictions about the future with no real plan to get there.

You get to work on cutting edge ML technology.

Incredibly toxic hustle culture. Decentralized work = isolation + lack of support. Doesn't practice what it preaches and lacks vision. Dev teams had virtually no plan for future work which caused lots of stress and uncertainty.

- Very smart people - Trust is paramount - Autonomy is encouraged - Transparency - Working on a topic that is truly gonna shape the future almost everywhere

Cons

You really need to be self-driven, otherwise you'll be lost quickly. Not a con though if you are - if you're not you'd probably better look elsewhere.

Pros

You get to design your day around the work that *you* believe will be impactful to the business. That means that you get to focus on tasks that excite you and bring you energy all while working in an open-source environment to democratize AI. You'll also have the opportunity to work with a lot of self-taught, super smart folks.

Cons

No one at Hugging Face is going to tell you how exactly to spend your day, so you have to be self-driven and creative.

- Get to work alongside some of the best thought leaders in the ML space - Users/community is growing at an incredible rate - Strong culture that supports work-life balance and time off - World class talent - Huge impact on democratizing AI & giving back to the community - Diversity is important and valued
