Pros
Work life balance. Traditional marking has almost all been phased out, thank goodness! Time can now be spent more productively on other things. All SLT are welcoming and friendly, which is rare in my experience (there’s usually at least one who is a total jobs worth). Lots of support staff across different year groups; this allows for lots of interventions etc to take place.
Cons
No greenery. Data (inputted every half term), can be timely as it involves you having to click through dozens of statements for every child for the core subjects. I’m not sure how beneficial this really is to overall success and outcomes.
