I worked at Incapital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Stocked Kitchen, friendly employees, tons of office activities

    Cons

Cut/sold many product lines the last few years, company lacks direction. I would not be surprised if the company is sold soon.

    Advice to Management

    Be honest

I worked at Incapital as an intern

    Pros

Amazing people work there. Lots of opportunities to develop knowledge through various educational programs. Relatively relaxed day to day work.

    Cons

The business is struggling and certain areas of the company may be unstable to work within.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what they're doing. Companies coming back from a bad low but theres good leadership.

    I worked at Incapital full-time

    Pros

Small company feel while dealing in billions of dollars. They punch above their weight in many areas and it feels a bit like family to work there. The current executive team cleaned up some of the "bad apples" as far as some unprofessional behavior etc.

    Cons

Currently the company seems a bit directionless and they are contracting. Expansion plans have, so far, failed.

    Advice to Management

They need to be committed to part of the market that is growing and move hard in that direction.

I worked at Incapital full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Benefits......Office looks nice... Can get great seats at Wrigley

    Cons

Since their hiring of a new CEO in 12/14, the company has gone downhill. How can a firm hire an insurance executive that was out of work for years and expect any success in running a Broker/Dealer. He hires his own cronies. Mass firings the past 2 years. No upside in this place. All indications that the firm is to be sold. Not a career place anymore. Beware !!

    Advice to Management

Dump the current management and CEO

I have been working at Incapital full-time

    Pros

The employee benefits and support personnel are exceptional. The facilities and offices are nice. The expense policy is fair and consistent with supporting business development.

    Cons

Far too many to list. The organization is truly rudderless. The management is largely ineffectual and the CEO is a faux intellectual and ,simply put, a bad guy that has zero vision nor ability to appreciate talent. It is unfortunate because the firm has some talented people but nobody feels secure.

    Advice to Management

Remove the CEO immediately. His imperious approach had eroded confidence and has the entire firm looking for outside employment.

Former Employee - Intern in Boca Raton, FL

    Pros

Great environment for medium sized business

    Cons

When I didn't have present projects I had nothing to do, sometimes for weeks at a time

    Advice to Management

Keep on including interns in projects. It made me feel beneficial instead of just being there for no reason.
