We are building a category as a challenger company with huge upside. Being here right now feels like being at a company like Notion or Calendly as they pivoted to selling to the enterprise. Mission is clear and momentum is building! Insightful's culture is perfect for a high-performance corporate athlete. If you prize impact over activity and want to own outcomes rather than just managing a queue of tasks, you will thrive. We get global collaboration and have direct access to leadership. It's a fast-paced environment where decisions can be made and implemented within a matter of hours. But the mindset is great with everyone pulling in the same direction so far.
Cons
Insightful is not a place for passive or 'passenger' personalities. If you are looking for an average-paced business-as-usual role, this isn't the place for you. We're remote-first, but you need to earn that flexibility and it's not without some challenges. Accountability and autonomy come hand-in-hand at Insightful, and we all have to be bought into the same standards. Dealing with team members across time zones, there is a considerable amount of strategic drift that has to be pushed back week to week. Definitely leads to a bit of misalignment and miscommunication that leads the company to slow down and requires more work from everyone as a result. You have to be a willing over-communicator to stay aligned. If you don't enjoy the friction of high-speed growth, the misalignment will probably frustrate you.
