Pros

Livelihood, some benefits (expensive health coverage, minimal sick time, no 401K), telecommuting once a week and improving skills for the next job.

Cons

Hiring managers not honest about the unethical "goings on," regular bullying by main customers (publishers) with no backup from domestic management or India, lack of up-to-date processes and overall toxic company culture. Close to half of the staff have left on their own accord in the last three years. This company attracts incompetent paycheck collectors who prefer to do minimal work and instead game the system to their advantage. Qualified, hardworking, ethical people need not apply. Or else you will end up doing more work than the rest.

Pros

The group of people who work in the Oak Brook office is amazing. Everyone is friendly, easygoing, and supportive. The supervising managers are very understanding, and the whole culture really promotes a good work-life balance with flex hours and the ability to work from home.

Cons

As other U.S.-based reviews have mentioned, the salary is FAR from competitive. You do get a performance bonus every quarter, but it doesn't begin to make up for the lack of pay. Work expectations can be a bit ridiculous. You constantly end up going above and beyond the job requirements that they initially present to for the position. Upper management tends to accept any job that comes their way regardless of the pay scales or unrealistic expectations. There is some room for promotion, but it's limited.

Pros

Employees. There's a great group of geekdom in the office, which is great. The ability to have a flexible job that allows you to work from home in the case of an emergency is great. your cubicle gets decorated in your birthday and everyone is really nice.

Cons

salary is not competitive. You end up doing the job of three people, usually at your own risk of having to be reprimanded because you didn't do something that is totally out of your control or even in the realm of your job requirements. Project schedules can sometimes be gruesome, which sometimes requires you to work late or even take work home.
