I have been working at Intelex Technologies (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Market leader in our segment, fantastic growth potential
    - Software helps corporate customers reduce impact on the environment and improve the health and safety of their employees - a very worthy cause
    - Significant increase in talent across the business over the past 18 months
    - Staff are overwhelmingly friendly, dedicated and embrace teamwork
    - loads of career potential for people who work hard and perform

    Cons

    - With fast growth comes lots of change, it can be fun but also challenging at times
    - Many reviews note exiting of some employees as new roles/people brought on (I don't think this is a bad thing as business trying to up the expectations of our talent pool)
    - Some legacy employees do not like change and seem overly negative (as evidenced in some reviews)

    Advice to Management

Stay the course. The business has great potential and we have lots of great people to achieve this. Legacy staff that don't like new challenges should move on if they are not committed to building a bigger and better company.

I have been working at Intelex Technologies full-time

    Pros

I have had a great experience working here, and there are plenty of opportunities for the people who actually work hard and contribute positively.

    Cons

Unfortunately as the company has expanded it has accumulated it's share of entitled employees. These kind of people are not be happy here, but would not be happy anywhere.

    Advice to Management

The company is not perfect, but management is well aware of the the issues, they just need to be more agile at times in identifying the root of the problem and taking action.

    Cons

.'In crowd' been around company for long time running things without any understanding of the real world
.good culture means constantly kissing up to members of the 'in crowd'
.Key people let go and other key people marginalized
.Latest direction pushed by ceo is incoherent and demonstrates lack of basic business skills

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Company really tries to develop talent internally and help people achieve their long term career goals. Those who work hard, are rewarded accordingly. Cannot say enough good things about the people at this company.

    Cons

Not too many cons here, management makes a point of personally checking with all staff members to ensure everything is okay and to understand if there is anything they can do to improve - best part, they actually listen and do their best to take recommendations into consideration

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

    - Amazing people
    - Solid product that actually makes the world a better place
    - Market leader
    - Leadership cares about employees and truly values the "Work to Live" mentality.
    - I would recommend this company to anyone .

    Cons

    - Could use a little more collaboration. There are a lot of people in the business and it would be great if the different departments could have more interaction and engagement.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the momentum. This is a fantastic work environment and Intelex has a very bright future!

I worked at Intelex Technologies (More than 3 years)

    Pros

None. Not a single one. Any of these positive reviews are fake and posted by marketing or the leadership team. This was communicated as a KPI for the Marketing team to improve their Glassdoor rating as the truth has caused their rating to plummet. Go on LinkedIn and connect with some actual employees (current and past) to get some realistic insight into how this company is being run into the ground.

    Cons

    1) Poor leadership. It starts from the very top down to the managerial level. All clueless, misguided and zero business acumen present. It's all about who you know and how long you've known them. All politics and not an environment of promoting and raising up individuals based on merit. If you`re looking to learn from good leaders, look elsewhere. You will only learn what NOT to do here.

    2) Low ceiling, especially if you're a woman. For a company that prides itself on how it treats it's women, it's scary what the reality of the situation is. Women are grossly underpaid for the same role as their male counterparts.

    3) Look at the number of recent job postings. It's not because of growth. It's because they are trying to replace their top talent that has steadily been streaming out the door for the past year. The saying "people leave their managers, not their organizations" is absolutely applicable here.

    4) No future vision. They have changed their "product roadmap" multiple times. There is no clear vision here which is sad because the company was in a great position to lead but now is trying to match item for item what the competitors in their space are doing.

    5) Poisoned work environment. Good employees being fired because their thinking doesn't line up with the CEO's misguided attempts at steering the company. It`s a revolving door here. The good people are leaving on their own before being shown the door for not falling in line with running the company into the ground. No one is on board for collaboration, everyone is out for their own. Add to this that every department has competing KPI's and you will see how hard it is to get anything done here. This environment creates pain and only the client suffers at the end of the day.

    6) Salary. Do your due diligence and go research what similar roles are offering in terms of salary. Intelex grossly underpays compared to the market. A proper organization will pay what`s fair and go above that to retain their talent.

    7)

    Advice to Management

New leadership across the board is needed.

I have been working at Intelex Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Constantly iterating processes and approach to ensure we stay ahead of the market.
    - Creative input encouraged
    - Expansive territories with lots of opportunities, leading to an attainable (or exceedable) OTE
    - Great place to develop a wide arrange of skills (prospecting, demoing, responding to RFPs, communicating with multiple stakeholders)
    - Occasional international travel
    - Strong, organic culture

    Cons

    - Constant change can be stressful
    - Big learning curve can lead to it taking time to get to first sale
    - Smaller company, so you feel the bumps
    - Young management leaving little room for accelerated job growth

    Advice to Management

    - Implement strategies to help employees reach their career goals (career pathing)
    - Look at the talent you have internally, rather than always reaching outside the company
    - Insulate employees from the changes, bumps better
