    I worked at Internode full-time

    Pros

Great group of people to have worked with day to day.

    Cons

R & R bonuses were weighted towards the sales side, more than fixing connection problems.

I have been working at Internode full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Enjoyable and supportive environment
    Friendly co-workers
Constant help available via a group chat
Nice perks, cake day every month (proper good stuff), credit off Internet
    Permanent shifts
Easy to move around to other departments

    Cons

No room to move up anymore, only sideways
    Some other standard job stuff

    Advice to Management

Not much 'Management' can do with anything bad currently due to every single action needing the CEOs attention. Also Simon Hackett is not CEO anymore, it's David Teoh.

I worked at Internode full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Internode care about their staff and their customers equally. By treating their staff amazingly well, their staff in turn can treat their customers well. This leads to usually positive outcomes for everyone, and overall job satisfaction!

I could talk about the benifits like massages, free food, regular social or celebratory events... but honestly the best part is how they treat people going through a bad time. Managment really seem to care about your physical and mental well being.

    Cons

While I was not at the company long, there does not seem to be much room for significant advancement. You can move laterally around the company, but thanks to the relatively flat corperate structure there isn't a lot of room to grow.

I have been working at Internode full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good incentive programs
    - Good frontline staff
    - Social Events
    - Good for young, entry-level jobseekers

    Cons

    - Low pay rate (though recently improved, still on he low end)
    - Recent changes due to iiNet takeover have resulted in negative impact on staff and customers
    - Excessive Micro-management
    - Unflexible management & HR policies
    - Lack of meaningful progression and development opportunites
    - 'Corporate' culture has become quite negative, oppresive and wilfully ignorant of staff morale

    Advice to Management

    - Care more about ground level staff and seek feedback rather than current focus on micro-management.
    - Re-consider current HR staff and policies
    - Find ways to promote positive culture rather than forcing employees to be appear to be positive
    - More focus on customer service than 'black and white' sales numbers or queue wait times.

I have been working at Internode full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Talented people working there.
    Tech oriented culture.
    Very good work atmosphere.

    Cons

Due to the take over by iiNet the culture seems to be changing. That has always been one of the best aspects of working at Internode.

    Pros

The people are nice but they're not the issue.

    Cons

Senior management clueless and doesn't listen or communicate. Spends time hiding away. Don't want to communicate as too fearful of things they don't understand.

    Advice to Management

    Learn how to communicate.

Fun place to work with great technical knowledge of employees and equal balance between work and life. They offer a lot to the employees in terms of team bonding exercises.

    Cons

report from other employees that wages not great

    Advice to Management

    improve wages
