    Pros

Great company for women to work for. There's a gym and a cafeteria available in the building. Benefits are outstanding.

    Cons

None that I can think of. Possibly that the company is located in downtown Philadelphia and, if you are driving a car, parking fees are expensive. However, there is a train available and it is very reasonable.

    Pros

The Colleagues you work with on a daily bases make you feel wanted and treat you like you are family. Outside work friendships were formed.

    Cons

The management staff treat you like you are a number not a real person. Nothing was their fault or problem, always looking to past the blame.

I worked at Intracorp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good training and did provide car.

    Cons

It's a sweatshop. Full time means 60 plus hours per week.

I have been working at Intracorp full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company allowed employees to make decisions and needed thought leaders on a regular basis.

    Cons

Spent a limited amount of time here as it was not the industry that interested me at the time.

I worked at Intracorp full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was a good place to learn case management. The immediate manager was a nice person.
The computer system was helpful at times. My coworkers were very nice and professional.

    Cons

You are just a name on a schedule. They are very stingy with raises. No one gets a raise the first year. Average work week is 70 hours.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with employees about criteria needed for a raise. Care about your employees.

    Pros

Some good people in Middle management that work hard to help you grow as a person and in your career

    Cons

The main cons were already let go. To bad it was to little to late. Hopefully the remaining leadership can recover the company and work towards offering quality products again.

    Advice to Management

offer great products at a great price - not produce a bunch of junk for a quick sale.

    Pros

It is great that all information about a file is accssible to whomever the file is assigned for a new services. Old records and new.

    Cons

The system itself is a little antiquated and does not support the scanning of medical records into a file and thus the case manager continues to have to summarized med docs and type them into the system.

    Advice to Management

Upgrade the Disability management system in order to have scanning capabilities; be able to format reports better. Communication is of utmost importance in this current economic state.

    Pros

Work from home, independence, set your own schedule. Company provides a home computer and company car if interested.

    Cons

Lack of communication regarding company as a whole. Feeling of not being part of the "whole". Too much pressure regarding "billing", not enough emphasis on the quality of the work. The training provided is too quick. It seems like the managers have too many people to manage and we never see them. We are owned by Cigna and all the rules are set by Cigna but out company, Intracorp, really has nothing to do with Cigna.
Not enough opportunities for career development and this is not encouraged either.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with the field staff; provide more positive feedback to field staff. Be more visible.
