Pros

Errrmmm... give me a minute...

Cons

A recent round of widescale redundancies has left this company a busted flush. Instead of streamlining processes and embedding systems first, Directors have opted for the big bang approach and simply slashed staff numbers (along with morale) to unsustainable levels. A short sighted financial win with far reaching consequences for operational performance. This misguided strategy has seen an exodus of experienced, knowledgeable staff and heaped misery on an already demoralised workforce. The resulting knowledge drain has forced the business to backfill vacancies with interim and temporary staff in a desperate attempt to shore up the depleted infrastructure. A shameful spending spree has seen an endless parade of consultants brought in to pick over the wreckage and support clearly overwhelmed Directors. Staff at risk of redundancy are invited to reapply for roles with impossibly high workloads to cover staff losses elsewhere and some have been asked to sign new contracts with increased working hours and reduced leave. Maybe this explains the embarrassingly low levels of staff willing to reapply. Surprised? Really? One or two of the new influx of Directors arrive with an air of arrogance treating existing employees with disdain. Support staff are not responsible for declining success rates and work exceptionally hard to provide a quality service. Many have seen your 'new' ideas tried in the past and can no doubt provide valuable insight into why they didn't work. Please note; Intraining and Rathbone are NOT colleges. They are complex organisational structures delivering a wide range of contracts across England, Scotland and Wales against multiple UKPRNs. They work with some of the most challenging learners imaginable so don't expect what previously worked for you in the FE sector to work here. If you're looking to work for a training provider with poor OFSTED ratings, dire financial woes, ineffective leadership, a chaotic management style and a severley depleted workforce then you've found it. Good luck... just don't say you weren't warned.

Worst Company!

Pros

-You get to meet some great people (especially those who are not up the managers arses all the time!) -Location was good.

Cons

-Corrupt, vindictive managers, who work alongside two-faced members of staff below them to target innocent, vulnerable individuals in their own team and bully them out of a job. -Put a complaint in, question management and you’ll be bullied, targeted by management. HR are just as corrupt and fail to follow through complaints and aggrievances correctly. -Lack of support from management, who are too busy on their phones updating their social media rather than doing any actual work; rather they delegate work and take credit for the work done. -Credit is given to those who do no actual work and sit around doing nothing (apart from eating and scoffing their faces) -Genuine, sincere staff are treated poorly. If you’re into snitching and making up lies to management about your fellow colleagues then your face fits perfectly in this company and you’ll be protected by management.

Pros

None, absolutely terrible place to work

Cons

Not really sure where to start, a company that not only doesn’t value its staff but clearly detests them. Inept ‘leaders’ who are clueless and downright nasty with it. No attempt or desire from anyone at a senior level to understand the business needs or listen to competent and experienced staff. Long standing and loyal employees are treated with complete disregard and disrespect before being shown the door in the most inhumane fashion. Company values such as ‘value our people’ are peddled but this could not be further from the the truth! Staff are bullied and reduced to the verge of mental breakdowns then left with no where to turn and given no support. A toxic place to work, if you value your wellbeing and sanity look elsewhere
