Self starters have ability to develop skills and knowledge if they so desire, due to little micromanaging.
Cons
Issues get swept under the rug often. No trust in leadership, nor in the personalities of those leading. Good ol' boys club is alive and well. No room for improvement nor advancement. Pay/benefits are awful.
