    As a studnet teacher and latre on program assistant the environment was supportive and flexible with my busy college schedule!

    The company provides great flexibility, has a wonderful and caring staff, and a fulfilling mission.

    Cons

    It does require many hours of training to ensure that corps members are properly preparing and planning the lessons for the children.

    I worked at Jumpstart part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    You get to make an impact in the lives of children from vulnerable and marginalized communities. The teachers were amazing and extremely supportive!

    Cons

    You couldn’t change your schedule after you picked your days which could interfere with your classes.

    fun, friendly, great curriculum to educate children, chance to improve leadership

    time consuming, commitment, sometimes require to work more than the standard hours (12 hours)

    Teaching preschoolers from low-income communities; giving them the language-tools to assist them and ensure their success in future schooling.

    Cons

    With the pandemic, switching to Zoom is not ideal.
