I worked at Kabbage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Unlimited Snacks, Lunch, Paid benefits

    Cons

Do not let the culture fool you. People are constantly trying to stab each other in the back and they care way more about tenure than actual ability. Some of the supervisors do not belong in their positions. I have never worked for a more poorly run company in my life.

    Advice to Management

Do more due diligence on scenarios that happen in workplace and implement some sort of write up policy. Firing people for no reason is pretty unprofessional.

I have been working at Kabbage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - working to fund small businesses & many of those entrepreneurs are women ('merica)
    - the people are smart, approachable, helpful, and hardworking
    - training and development encouraged and provided
    - provided the tools you need to get the job done
    - freedom to be proactive and take ownership
    - lunch provided & puppies in the building
    - community service
    - fitness center

    Cons

    - company grew fast and is still growing, so typical growing pains of trying to rebuild implementations that were thrown together quickly

    Advice to Management

Make sure the workloads are equitable. Keep the roles nice and defined.

I have been working at Kabbage full-time

    Pros

Without exception everyone I've worked with or met seems like a genuinely good person.

    Cons

I think there's an active struggle to find the right balance across the spectrum of getting things done quickly vs in the most high quality way. As the company gets bigger, maybe the needle should swing toward the latter.

I have been working at Kabbage full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Fast paced work environment
    - At least two missing jobs for any area you might interested to work on

    Cons

    - Fast paced work environment that might kills you and nobody cares
    - Culture is rapidly declining and will further do so.
    - Recent changes show the trend will keep going (lunch, supplies and healthcare have been cut back). - Even though operating costs are very little compared to the profits everything is done to make the profits bigger and to pay the C-Levels Porsche while cutting back on employee benefits.

    Advice to Management

Your top people will leave first and this has already started. If you don’t start to realize that your workforce and each individuals skills are the most important thing for your growth, you’ll soon end up seeing those shiny numbers drop no matter how much you save by cutting back on employee benefits.
