I have been working at Kadlec full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pros are insurance is available at a reasonable cost. Great employees and patients.

    Cons

Pay could be better. Company keeps implementing new ideas to streamline that make more work for the employees and less time for them to do it in.

    Advice to Management

Actually work in the clinics you expect to implement the changes you have envisioned. Spend some time with the employees you ask so much of to make sure that they are actually happy.

I worked at Kadlec full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management was excellent! Co-workers are friendly and a great group to work with. After working for a certain amount of time they offer college tuition each year for those who want to continue education.

    Cons

I have nothing negative to say. Greatest place I've worked for, and was sad to have to leave due to moving. If I move back I wouldn't think twice to apply again. I love it there.

I worked at Kadlec full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I had a great first 10 years ,then the job position was eliminated. This affected over a dozen long term successful women. The care of patients I feel is top notch.

    Cons

The Planetree philosophy was not applied to the employees. Employee voices are not heard by upper management. When the job position I and others were in was eliminated new jobs were to be made available. The way it was handled was horrible and for myself and two others we were put into a position with needed training that was promised and did not happen. They said they didn't have the budget but new hires were directed to training before being placed in their position. Sadly it became true that they replaced some employees with two less expensive ones.

    Advice to Management

Treasure your employees, help them to succeed and stay true to the promises made

I have been working at Kadlec full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

-Pay is decent, we received wage increases after Providence affiliation
-Staff is great, RN's and doctors are great to work with
-Schedule is flexible, able to raise family and balance work
    -Many experienced caregivers in department

    Cons

-Benefits worsened after Providence affiliation, PTO was decreased and EIB was taken away
-Unsafe staffing ratios/unrealistic workloads, NICU RT will have NICU and multiple floors/units
    -Management is not present
    -No perks and no appreciation

    Advice to Management

How can managers and directors run a department they know nothing about?
