Pros

1. Competitive salary. 2. Easy interview process. 3. HRs are not that stupid as they shows: HR adding fake reviews, and adding cons as salary. The idea is to attract the people to join company by giving good compensation. So on getting the offer the candidate forgets about the Cons and gets gets attracted to face Pros, and end up joining the company to spoil their career. 4. Decent work life balance, at least most of the time.

Cons

1. Bad leave policy: Need to get permission from ceo to take more than 3 days leave. 2. Ceo is from sales background so he assumes that increasing sales team size will bring in more clients, but company managed to get only one client in 7 years. 3. Project management is too bad. There is no project planning. Because of bad planning, the work gets accumulated and developers are forced to come on weekend to finish the work. 4. Not sensitive to employees problem: If due to some medical emergency or because of family problems, an employee takes leave, manager asks employee to work from home. 5. No job security. Employees are fired without even single warning. 6. Less hikes and non transparent appraisal process. 7. Blocks salary on notice period. When asked HR says it's company policy, however it is nowhere mentioned in the contract. 8. No learning opportunities: couple of years back, I would not have said this but in last 2 years, most of the technically sound guys have left, so there is no one to learn from or get inspired from. 9. No traveling opportunity. 10. To process followed. No documentation. No training is provided for new joiners.

We respect your views. We are happy to know that you feel the company has good team and people in these teams. We agree to disagree as far as your points on management and the CEO are concerned. The leadership team is hands on leading from the front. Under the same leadership KPT has bagged various awards for its innovation and contribution to the industry. Every company has challenges and so does KPT. The teams are not running away from it. The team is noting feedback of all stake holders, analyzing it and making provision of correction wherever required. We have taken several measures to communicate the company’s growth strategy and address genuine concerns on performance. As far as your point on fake review stands, we think Glassdoor is a better judge to understand that. So I hope that you trust glass door. Regards, Gaurav Mahendru – Head HR, KPT

Pros

- flexible timings with no stress to come at a particular time unless it is meeting or interviews. - Good place to use online Library and resources to increase the knowledge. - Work from home option. - leave options are more now. - small teams and more interaction among the departments. - Robust products in the portfolio which provides great opportunities to work on various aspects of them. - scrum meetings that allow transparency across what is happening with the product timelines. - multi cultural working environment with workforce from all over India and also all around the world from places like San Jose, Glasgow, Japan and China. - Employee Training options are always encouraged all through the year. - Good chances of promotions and increments and bonuses are paid on time. - Salary is never delayed and always on time.

Cons

- WorkFromHome option is not open to all employees. Mainly restricted to leads and managers. - Too many projects at the same time with less resource makes it cumbersome to work with so too much expectations with the resources. - Most of the employees work in tight deadlines with little amount of thought going in to what they are doing or what can be better. - Less R n D and this results in assumptions about a product success which in turn leads to less product penetration in the mass.
