Pros

Most of the people who work here are good people. The company also treats their customers pretty well. During the first year of working here I put about 45k miles on my car, and in the second year they did provide a company car (which was a billboard on wheels.) They provide a good product to the customers as well.

Cons

They don't contribute to health care for the first year and then after the first year they will pay half (which for a single person comes out to about $250 a month.) No matching 401k, no yearly raises, very little room for advancement. After one year of work you get one week paid vacation, and that's all you'll get for as long as you work there. I had asked for a review after my first year and all I got from them was "you're doing a good job so there's nothing we need to go over." The gas reimbursment program was horrible, they gave $.30 a mile after the first 30 miles of driving. They also display very little loyalty to their employees.

Backwards And Incompetent

Pros

The owners and management are so incompetent that you can essentially do whatever you want (not that that's a good thing). Occasionally the owners buy lunch or dinner for the office staff or provide free t-shirts or ice cream. Lots of smoke breaks. A handful of excellent employees who essentially keep the company running.

Cons

Horribly out of date policies. "Family owned" by a family who has no actual business experience. Pay is very low for the job. They will hire 2 or 3 young inexperienced kids for $10 an hour to do a job poorly rather than hire 1 person for a respectable salary to do a job properly. Company policies make it impossible to serve the customer, and employees are forced to lie and apologize to defend the "brand". Outdated technology. Poor health insurance coverage (starts at $90/month for an individual policy with $6,500 deductible). No matching 401(k). Recently cut vacation days. No direct deposit. Recent change to paycheck design makes them impossible to be cashed, ownership refuses to reissue checks. No annual bonuses. No profit sharing. Dogs in office frequently relieve themselves on the carpet, bark, and beg for food.
