Unstable workplace with excessive micromanagement and politics

Pros

Very few. Some good people work here, but most do not stay for long.

Cons

This is one of the most unstable workplaces I have experienced. The company appears to hire and fire employees on extremely short notice, creating constant uncertainty and stress. Employees never feel secure because there is always a fear that they could be let go at any time, regardless of their performance. Micromanagement is excessive, and internal politics play a major role in decision-making. The Product team, in particular, is highly political, and many decisions seem to be influenced by politics rather than merit, performance, or business needs. The company has aggressively shifted toward AI-driven development and has pushed almost every department into development-related work through AI tools. The transition appears rushed and poorly planned. One of the biggest concerns is how employees are treated. It often feels as if high salaries themselves become a liability. There have been cases where strong performers were let go, while others were terminated under various justifications that did not appear aligned with their actual contributions. There have also been situations where people resigned from their previous jobs after accepting offers, only to later discover that hiring plans had changed. In some cases, candidates were reportedly informed before joining that they were no longer needed and were advised to try returning to their previous employer. Such situations reflect a serious lack of professionalism and workforce planning. Overall, this is not a company I would recommend to anyone looking for stability, professional growth, or a predictable work environment. If you join, be prepared for the possibility that your employment situation could change with little warning.
