Pros

- Beautiful office - Dog friendly office - Young workplace and very casual - Lots of engaging social activities

Cons

- This position will be marketed as "analyst" but in reality it's data entry. I was stuck doing 10 hours of data entry every day. - 60 hour work weeks. You are required to work 50 hours a week at minimum. Most people work 60. Even if you don't have any work, you are required to be there. You have to make up the time if you go for a doctor's appt. - Underpaid for how many hours worked - Some managers are chill and good at managing, others are micromanagers (even if you don't report to them). I was sat down for "taking too many phone calls" during a family emergency. - Not given additional work even if asked because other people are too busy to train you - Certain projects are lead by managers or seniors and if they don't like you, they won't put you on them - They first say you can work hybrid but then will not let you because "it's a hassle." I was involved in a car accident and did not have a car for 2 weeks and they told me to "find a way" to get to work because they didn't want me to work remotely for those two weeks. - The work is mind-numbing. I felt so dead and empty after each day and because I worked so many hours, I had no energy to do anything after work or on weekends. Work took over my life.

Pros

- The chance to contribute in a meaningful way and not just "do a job" - this won't happen overnight; you need to master the fundamentals first and be proactive, but the opportunity to wear many hats and work in different areas of the business is something very unique about this company - A fair, merit-based organization; management actually takes the time to understand which employees go the extra mile and recognizes them - Management prefers to promote from within so there are advancement opportunities if you earn the confidence of your colleagues - They provide training to teach new employees the fundamentals, so people of all professional and educational backgrounds can succeed at the company - Leadership fosters a culture of kindness; employees are supportive of one another and help each other out during busy times

Cons

- At a fast-growing consulting company, things can change quickly and you need to be flexible and adaptable at times. It depends on the individual, but some people may find this challenging.
