    Tiger pride is something that brings everyone together

    It is the Deep South so inclusion is something that is still developing.

    Advice to Management

    We need more diversity in ALL departments. Maybe have more events to promote everyone coming together from near and fAr so that they feel that they have a home in LSU

    Pros

    Small college town with all sort of services can be found pretty well.

    Cons

    Salary is well below than national average for any PhD students where need to pay fees and health insurance from the monthly bill. More like a modern slavery.

    Great health insurance
    Extra perks/discounts around town and to athletic events
    Lots of holidays
    Pretty good retirement plan

    Pay is low-average with no talk of promotions or raises.

    The campus is very large and beautiful. And students are enthusiastic.

    The campus' transportation is limitation, you have to have a car or you can't go anywhere.
