Pros

Some people really do like the product.

Cons

Product is out-dated in appearance. Same program for decades. New technology is confusing for customers to get started and support is very limited. Customer Service and Tech Support is a MESS. Many, many changes in upper management have led to a lot of changes and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Sense of imperialism by some people.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, and for being honest. We know we could do better, and we work hard to keep improving. We want every stakeholder experience - customer, employee, school, teacher, supplier, partner, etc. - to be great. The student experience is the most important - and we've been committed to that for 40 years. Because “people really do like the product,” as you point out, LWT was already on a growth track before the pandemic. Now, that growth is super-charged - we have the answers to the questions being asked. Education is facing many changes, and so are we - with new people, products, services, etc. LWT is committed to continuous improvement in all areas. You’ve given good “Advice to Management” - we want every “bee” working in the LWT hive to be engaged and sharing good ideas. There are a number of ways that happens: through a manager; via email to HR; writing for the blog or newsletter; on social media; at Town Halls; or by filling out the employee survey (look for the next one in the spring). Good ideas can come from anywhere. Thanks for that “Positive Outlook.” There is a lot to be positive about at LWT. Thank you again.

Pros

- Founder is committed to the company's mission and is truly passionate about what she does - Pizza Fridays - Open plan office environment makes collaboration easy

Cons

- Top heavy. A lot of managers and C level titles and not enough people to get the work done - Unrealistic expectations. Constant need for production without being given leadership or direction - Terrible vacation policy

Pros

I've been with LWT for 3 years and it's a privilege working for a company that has such a positive impact on the development of children all over the country and world. It's very rewarding knowing that as I find success selling our products, so too will the districts, schools, teachers and students who use our curriculum. Definitely, a win win! As for the company itself, I'm surrounded by great people who share my passion for what we do!

Cons

We're expanding our product offerings, re-branding and growing as a company (internally and externally), which is all great but it does come with challenges. Ultimately, we're moving in the right direction as a company, we're growing our customer base and our customers are happy.
