    Pros

Collegiate environment among your own departments. The pay is top of the competition. Company is always looking for new products.

    Cons

There are turf wars between departments -- for example between marketing and R&D, or marketing and sales. Unfortunately company was overstaffed within marketing, operations, and sales.

    Advice to Management

There is absolutely no transparency between what management says, and what they do. Company needs to acquire new products and not rely on an R&D organization which has failed to bring out any new products in years -- and not just line extensions. Most of the original talent has left.

I worked at LifeCell full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are no Pros to LifeCell.

    Cons

Micromanagement. Poor leadership. Management puts up a facade of trying to be a great place to work, and fails miserably.

I worked at LifeCell full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, treat you fairly and support career growth.
Pay is fair for the industry, office is nice and leadership is strong.

    Cons

Overall not too much negative to say about the company. Culture was becoming an issue. Could use some more new products. That's about it.

    Advice to Management

I think it would be smart to provide some new products to the sales and marketing teams to keep employees, doctors, hospitals, etc engaged and interested.

Compensation is fair but not great.

I worked at LifeCell full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free tea and coffee. Also, a lot of overtime.

    Cons

No holidays or days off. Managers run their employees as if they were slaves while they are in their offices relaxing in front of their computers. The different job operations are back breaking and although they are doable, within a short time your hands and back will start feeling the stress. Some of the technician 1 talk to the production producers as if they are worse than animals, their is no sense of respect or unity. Their only concern is how to maximize profit at all cost by using "YOU" as the main piece to accomplish this, while your body breaks down due to the chemicals used and continuous repetition of the operations. Worse company I've ever been part of and would not recommend it to anybody.

    Advice to Management

Change the culture or you will continue to lose good people
