Pros

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I tried to come up with one positive and cant.

Cons

When interviewing they said that "The cobbler's children have no shoes" and that was their biggest struggle. They were open about the fact that although they are a leadership development company, they struggle with leadership issues. I had no idea of the extent of these issues. Its beyond disturbing that these people are going into companies and teaching those clients how to treat employees. The CEO and many of those surrounding the CEO treat employees in a disturbing manner. No trust in this organization. Often told to hide issues from various people or departments. There is also a great deal of nepotism. I was told that in advance but didn't realize the amount of dysfunction that created.

Pros

Recognized in the leadership development space

Cons

Lack of leadership support, availability and unprofessional (talk about staff with other employees). RVP's are split into too many pieces and are more concerned with their own delivery days and their personal sales quota achievement. Consultants fail to show at client meetings and unavailable for collaborative conversations - no sense of urgency -- try to explain that to clients. Poor communication. Town Hall Meetings and weekly meetings waste of time as neither go deep enough into any one topic. Depressing environment - never mind they are one of the lowest paying firms in the industry.

Pros

Work here if you have a strong interest in the Leadership Development field and need something entry level to put on your resume. Or if you are related to the CEO or one of his clients.

Cons

Low salaries. Low morale. No promotions except for those who are related to the CEO. Way too many projects and none are given sufficient resources, causing them all to fail. The hire consultants, who spend all day on the road dealing with clients, and put them in management positions, when they have no time to manage. The one in-house manager is overloaded and doesn't know what he's doing. The CEO is completely inaccessible. They do not promote women. They do not hire minorities in client-facing positions. When they hold "town hall" meetings, the CEO does not show up. There is no internal communication. In an effort to reduce costs, they have recently begun hiring inexperienced people and putting them in charge large projects, ensuring continued failure.
