Pros

You might enjoy working at LockPath if.. - you as a skilled professional, enjoy being demeaned, slandered, and disrespected. - you want to work for a business who's strategy is to have no strategy - you want to create, market, sell, implement and support a “deprecated proof-of-concept” technology - your measure of success to leadership is whether you were in the office during work hours

Cons

As others have posted, LockPath is a toxic place. The culture was created and is maintained by a leadership team who makes every attempt to lead by fear. Veiled attempts at civility or culture changes, are nothing more than a smoke screen. The contempt, outright distrust and even hatred of employees is staggering. Realize that this organization is run by people with major trust issues, larger than life egos, and absolutely no concept of actual business acumen and etiquette. Even a positive review, trying to defend LockPath, demonstrates their attitude and utter contempt for those that would speak out. That current employee states that negative reviews are from those that are “lazy or bad at their jobs” and that “slackers have nowhere to hide…” and finally, the negative glassdoor comments are clearly from “people that lacked the skill and work ethic to survive.” Instead of pointing out positives of the organization and how there are exciting changes taking place or how there is tremendous growth, the response is “typical LockPath”. Get angry. Yell, scream, curse and then have a leadership meeting to convince each other that everyone else is an idiot. This is common practice and a sad state to be sure. At some point there needs to be some introspection and realization that the issues are within. The stance that, "Surely there can’t be a problem at the leadership level, it must be that employees are stupid, lazy and slacking" needs to change.

Pros

small company with huge potential

Cons

The co-founders like to bully their employees and aren't open to any new ideas. In fact if you offer ideas you will get ostracized and made fun of behind your back. They have hired good people with a lot of experience but don't trust anybody and so those people have left or are looking to leave. I would describe the culture as toxic and self-serving. The leadership doesn't know how to run a company and certainly don't respect or care about their employees. I have witnessed co-workers being bad-mouthed by leadership the minute a co-worker has left the room. Very sad. Big egos at the top.

Pros

I had the opportunity to work with some very intelligent people who were also duped into working at the company.

Cons

LockPath should be a case study on how poor management can completely and utterly destroy a company. While sold as a innovative and free thinking company, it was anything but. Ideas not originating from the top are immediately shot down and in most cases individuals were told to keep there mouths shut and simply do their job. Customer feedback regarding product improvements were put into an ever growing backlog that was viewed as nothing more than "useless complaints". I witnessed the CTO and CEO openly go on curse riddled tirades that had no warrant, all because employees did not meet some form of unspoken goal that they did not know existed. Avoidable if process and goals were communicated at any level.
