Great learning experience + Great HR management
Jan 16, 2017 - Account Manager in ParisRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Very driven team with entrepreneurial/startup spirit - Laidback office atmosphere - Real career perspectives - Fast-growing company - Opportunity for employees to undertake multiple fields and tasks - Space for creativity is given to employees, as well as full autonomy. - Easy to take initiatives and implement new projects/ideas/improvements - Good HR management: successful employees are rewarded, less successful ones are quickly notified
Cons
Working in a startup means that one has to quickly show positive results, as well as a positive attitude, in order to succeed in the company. This can be a con if you don't have a strong and driven personality. A lot of involvement is expected from superiors, employees should expect to work extra hours, and sometimes participate in very diverse tasks that are not necessarily entailed in the position they signed up for. Again, it can be a plus depending on how you approach it. Corporate culture could be a bit more developed, and engaging (ie: weekly team lunches, monthly outings, birthday events etc...), especially for new employees that can be intimidated by the bond between co-founders.
