I have been working at MYCS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling, overtime. Good experience to work with chronic mental health and introduce yourself to group collaboration (therapists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, etc.). Good experience to build clinical writing skills.

    Cons

Poor management and no employee incentive. Sure, there's overtime, but there are no pay raises within this position, so whether you've been there 5 years or 2 months you all make the same amount. There is also a lack of care for employees. The place is a zoo, the residents have more rights than rules so attempting to get them to do what they need to is difficult.

    Advice to Management

Try working with the residents all the time. It's easy to say "do this and do that" but until you have actually worked with them, you should listen to your employees.
