Pros

work from home pto flexible impossible to get fired do nothing and get paid the same as others

Cons

If ManyPets is to be successful they need to have a fundamental rethink of everything they are currently doing as it is not working -the morale amongst the majority of staff is extremely low. Manypets is truly the place where common sense goes for a quiet death... sad to say that the UK said it perfectly. zero training, zero guidance, zero growth, zero HR, zero accountability, huge changes based on singular incidents. insane turnover rate. hemorrhaging needed employees left and right, promotions based on personality, favoritism, circular/nonproductive everything, Who is making all of these decisions? Just like Nemo.. we just keep swimming until we can touch the butt aka something more stable comes along and we can get away. it is uneasy, awkward, gross.. laughable, honestly. What is happening?!

Pros

Good Pay Flexible Self Govern

Cons

COMPLETELY UNORGANIZED ManyPets treats their employee's good while you work for them but you'll never know how long that'll be. They have layoffs far too often and will act as if it's unexpected even though they've been planning it for a while. THe management team can't be trusted and will lie straight to your face about any and everything. You definitely won't have job security here as anyone is disposable for the mistakes of higher ups who needs to put their jobs on the line since many internal problems stem from their mistakes. They actually tried to get some leadership employees to encourage a lot of us to quit just so they wouldn't have to pik out who to lay off. They're terrible and get 0 respect from me. Find another job

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the time you spent with us and that found our pay and flexibility competitive. We're sorry to hear you left ManyPets thinking we didn't get our layoff process quite right. We wanted to give our people as much visibility and awareness as we could given the current economic climate - which is why we openly asked our teams to let us know if they would be open to voluntary redundancy first. The timelines for a formal process like this are often very quick (usually the same day) so we thought that by involving our people in the conversation early and giving an extra couple of weeks notice, it would be a more considerate option for those impacted. I've made sure to relay your feedback to Robb, Steven Arnold, and Brianna so they're aware too.

Pros

Working remotely from home is the only pro.

Cons

The company is floundering, plain and simple. Management has absolutely no idea what they are doing on a day to day. Most of the team leads including the manger have had absolutely no experience in management whatsoever and it shows. It’s absurd being managed by individuals who came from no veterinary and/or insurance backgrounds. Not to mention the lack of any bonuses or raises. And I realize other reviewers have posted the same only to be gaslit with a response that the company does try and compensate these measures. Don’t waste your breath with more lies because at this point in time it is blatantly obvious after yet another round of layoffs the company will be lucky to keep its head above water. And it’s in everyone’s best interest to find a new job because I’m willing to bet ManyPets will be dissolved in another few months. Sad that the people appointed to be in charge can’t even do that correctly. My heading says it all a chimpanzee could do a better job!

Hello and thanks for leaving us a review. We were sorry to see feedback like this - and we’d love the opportunity to discuss this further, as there’s a lot to unpack. Our US leaders all come from veterinary or insurance backgrounds and we’ve made sure we hire skilled people managers who can make sure we’re growing our offering in the most sustainable way possible. While we have had to make tough decisions to ensure the long term sustainability of our business, please be assured that ManyPets is financially stable. Our plans remain focussed on offering the best products possible, retaining our customers, and delivering superb customer care for when pet parents need us the most. The leadership team have been made aware of your feedback and my “virtual door” is open if you’d like to have a chat with me in confidence about anything you’ve shared (it’s Jen GC replying).
