Pros

While working for Mapcom, the company was in transition for a more sustainable product moving forward. The opportunities to grow were plentiful if you were willing to try new things. The people were great and the company does a good job with extra perks around the office. The salary was competitive, as well as the insurance and benefits.

Cons

Because the company was in transition, there were times requiring rolling-up-your-sleeves and getting into some projects requiring difficult work under tight timelines. Nothing different than most small-to-mid size companies deal with.

I have seen more positive changes over the past year than in my during my first 5 years with Mapcom. New management team is a breath of fresh air - improved employee benefits, more accountability, new employee appreciation events and a renewed focus on our software quality.

Company can be clickish with pockets of entitlement Limited career growth Health and 401k not the best
