I worked at Maxxam Analytics (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Some departments have a good atmosphere by kind people.
    - BBQ during summer.

    Cons

    - Mismanagement of human resources and talent selection. They often fire people after 2 or 3 weeks. That is, they really have no idea what kind of personality or worker they are looking for and they prefer to rehearse each week rather than develop talent. DO NOT LEAVE ANY OTHER JOB FOR GOING TO THIS COMPANY.

    - High Staff Turnover
    - Poor Salary.
    - A stressful atmosphere in the pre-processing department.
    - Overtime every day.
    - There is no opportunity for growth. The company is controlled by a group of people from a specific origin. If you do not like them, nothing will change for you.

    Advice to Management

    - Try to apply more human policies inside the lab department and to develop talent.
    - The supervisors should take a lot of courses, how to treat people, how to manage the time, how to manage the talent, etc..

I worked at Maxxam Analytics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

M-F Stable work schedule with opportunities for some overtime

    Interesting Staff to work with

    Cons

Very low pay, People who delivered the samples to testing departments made just as much (which was was very little anyhow) in comparison to those who had a higher education doing testing

    Mediocre to low benefits

Extremely mundane and repetitive. Lack of challenge and incentive.

Management in some departments were known to cut corners (health-wise) or overly demanding

    Advice to Management

It would be easier to comply with demands if the incentive to work harder was there in the first place. AKA more money and distribution of success of the business at the time.
