I have been working at MechoSystems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Has great health insurance.
Was better when it was acutally under The Bermans

    Cons

Anyone above the Supervisor working there doesn't really know what you do
People do what they want due to lack of vision
Lack of work, can become boring
    Lack of appreciation
Unbalanced work position. (Some spots have too many people in it and some have not enough people on it)
Unbalanced Pay (Someone who puts shades inside a bag gets paid the same as someone running machines and lifting heavy material)
    The list goes on...

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to charm the employees.

    Pros

Right now it’s good cause managers are only worried about themselves and not there teams so you can pretty much do whatever you want.

    Cons

If you’re good at your job, and a woman, you can never ever ever leave your department. They come up with a million excuses why you can’t move up or move away from your department. Managers think that they can control your destiny.

    Advice to Management

If you put years into someone see how they can benefit the company instead of pigeon holing them into one spot and ruining their chance at a career.

    Pros

My team, for the most part, were wonderful people.

    Cons

Horrible management style where screaming happens all the time, no opportunity for growth, seems like men have way more opportunities than women.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better and listen to what they're saying and actually do something about it.

    Pros

    Can't think of any.

    Cons

Too many to list. That being said there was culture of fear and intimidation. Being inappropriate was celebrated. Maybe that's changed since they were bought, but it was an abusive environment where sexual harassment and vulgarity was the norm.

    Advice to Management

    Fire yourself.

    I worked at MechoSystems full-time

    Pros

    None that I could see

    Cons

Pay, just simply ridiculous. The same jobs keep coming open because of the awful pay and the horrible way employees are treated until they leave. The location of the company is silly. It's in the middle of nowhere and very difficult to get to on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees an actual salary that makes sense. Don't expect that you can squeeze employees for every nickle and dime and that they'll stay. Ever wonder why the same jobs keep coming open? It's because you don't pay a living wage and THEN don't treat people with respect.

    Pros

They try to be "nice" and pretend they're helping you. Company is going to go out of business soon since parent company is consolidating but they wont tell you that ;)

    Cons

Owners for themselves, and so is management.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating employees like tools, give credit where credit is due.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

actually listen to feedback from customers and employees. Also realize that when you are paying people garbage, you will end up with garbage people. There is a reason all the talented people leave this company
