    Pros

Good benefits with nice car allowance

    Cons

VERY TOP HEAVY...This is a place for re-tread Boston Scientific managers, that were losers at Boston Scientific. The culture is negative and very little to be happy about. Surprisingly more people have not left however the next 2 years you will see a mass exodus. The CEO is clueless with a huge ego and only wants to invest in other countries. They have zero R&D in the U.S. No new products launched in 5 years, and what was launched failed. The good ol days when this company went direct 11 years ago is gone. The B.S. boys fired all the folks who knew capital and now you have people running the company that think they know capital. Bullying approach and either my way or the highway attitude, will not listen to ideas or how this company truly became successful. Running company to the ground. I predict in 2 years the POD System will go away and reps will carry one bag, and the company will be sold due to bad management and revenue dropping, the Board Members will have some tough decisions to make but they must be made.

    Advice to Management

Fire all the B.S. boys and get back the people who knew how to run an OEM company and understood capital. The honeymoon for all the new B.S boys will soon be over. I don't think you will ever see how good this company use to be. VERY SAD!

I worked at Medivators full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Added many skills to my manufacturing career.

    Cons

Very hostile work environment. Training is remarkably poor!

    Advice to Management

When your chief competitor receives a cease and desist order from the FDA for failing inspections and refusing or neglecting to correct the problem(s)- true story!Do you have the foggiest clue how much product demand you could then cater to? You have completely failed to take advantage of the new demand for your machines. Your trainers on the manufacturing floor need to be fired! With one exception, but I won't name names. As a trainee, I was set up for failure. One old biddie even gas-lights a kind person who taught me well. If not for your testing system, we may have shipped some very defective machines, but my good trainer could usually dig out the old bat's sabotage in a minute or two.

    I worked at Medivators full-time

    Pros

    "decent" salary. Thats about it.

    Cons

Negative employees, no leadership, haphazard training. Use and abuse. All the employees are either disgruntled or very negative. Stay away!!!!!!!!!

    Advice to Management

Eliminate current west coast regional managers. Pompous and out of touch. Good ol boy club without a clue running a business segment. Makes you wonder where their MBA came from.

I have been working at Medivators full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good location in the west metro. The benefits are okay, but they used to be better. They do offer tuition reimbursement.

    Cons

Gross inconsistencies between departments and within management. Entire focus is on growing the business at any cost. Used to be an employer that put customer and employee satisfaction first.

    Advice to Management

Create a consistent message and internal brand. Then live it. Place value in the people who actually do the work that makes all the money.

I have been working at Medivators full-time

    Pros

The name of the company is Medivators now. Not Minntech.

    Cons

Management is the worst in the industry. The president of the company has hired the entire crew he used to work with while he was at Boston Scientific in the over a decade ago. The compensation plan and leadership is that dated as well. The VP is significantly passive aggressive and will not listen to advice from his team. Promotion has come only to those that have worked with the President/VP in the past. There's been a multitude of false promises and missteps with product development and sales since the regime change five years ago.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the field staff. Simple listen to them. Hear what they're saying. Hold yourselves accountable for poor performance. Follow through on what you say you're going to do.

    Pros

Fast Growing Company. Good product line

    Cons

Very political. Senior management consently trying to out-position each other resulting in turnover of good people (unless you are ex Boston Scientific)

    Advice to Management

Learn some management skills, I'd suggest John Maxwell
