Pros
Millard truly feels like one big family! The people are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely care about one another’s success. I would say it is as diverse as it can be for a workplace in Nebraska. I am a person of color and definitely feel safe here. The district promotes a healthy work–life balance, and leadership provides a clear, forward-thinking vision. Millard is also technologically advanced, consistently investing in tools and systems that support both staff and students. I would definitely recommend working here to anyone looking for a positive and progressive work environment.
Cons
Maybe salaries could be a bit better. Health care plans aren't particularly amazing especially if you choose the high deductible plan but at least it comes with district HSA contributions.
