I have been working at Mindtree full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Fantastic people that work here.
    Great work location.

    Cons

    Horrible on-boarding process.
    Horrible training tools.
Microsoft recently removed access to cafeterias and other amenities.
Expects training to occur either when you are taking cases and activly working with customers OR doing it in your off time and not claiming time for it. That doesn't include the actual capability to connect to the training resources.

    Advice to Management

PLEASE! Streamline your onboarding process. Not once was their a clear and concise process from initial training of Azure to the work process. There is no excuse for being this sloppy. It reflects poorly on the company from someone starting on the job.

Review your training processes set dates for training that are reasonable!

    Pros

Nice co-workers. Some really good people

    Cons

Constant learning curve, training lacks, parking is inconvenient . Management is overbearing due to lack of training.

    Advice to Management

People need more 1 on 1 training, not good training when newbies are all spread out from lead.

I have been working at Mindtree full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    * If coming straight out of college, you'll be able to spend a few months in India training. This is a great experience and also one that will help bolster your resume.

    * Good benefits package.

    * For the most part, teams seem to have good work/life balance.

    * Generally a friendly and supportive culture that places a high value on integrity.

    * Excellent opportunities with some major companies across numerous industries. Some of these companies are located in major tech hubs in the U.S., which provides a lot of potential career opportunities.

    Cons

    * Pay is well below the average. There are some steps taken to help mitigate the problem, but to say the least, I've heard a manager simply tell someone, "You won't be able to live in [city] on your own." Basically, be prepared for roommates if going to an expensive city.

    * As great as the India experience can be, you'll likely get homesick towards the end, and that can be a cause a lot of stress.

    * Some teams have horrible work/life balance. This isn't my personal experience, but I have heard horror stories.

    * Communication and doing just about any administrative task can take a while. A lot of this is just a natural cause of the company's split between India and the U.S., and things seem to be getting better, but it goes to unbelievable extremes at times.

    Advice to Management

First, rethink the salaries and cost of living adjustment. That's easily the biggest stress factor on employees, especially those in expensive cities.

Second, improve communication and don't let support tickets stay idle for over a year!
