Talented team but distracted by internal evaluations

Pros

* Some fantastic and genuinely talented people across the business. * Low and mid level staff work hard to keep a fun and vibrant culture. * Office location and amenities * Company tries to be forward thinking and innovative

Cons

Unfortunately in a time where the company should be chasing large mid market contracts to grow the business significantly, Mirrorweb gets stuck looking internally on evaluating staff on AI token usage and dashboarding every metric known to man. Its clear to see that senior management are being pressed to achieve ever escalating goals in short timeframes. Mirrorweb is a mid sized company attempting to be a global corporate. But by doing this is clearly losing touch with where its truly at. The company prides itself on speed of execution via AI, at the detriment of quality and reasonability.

Think twice

Pros

Exceptional colleagues. Driven, talented, and genuinely invested in the work.

Cons

Come ready to give everything with very little coming back your way. High performance is expected but appreciation, growth, and fair compensation are not guaranteed. Leadership operates from a place of pressure rather than partnership, with little awareness of the realities on the ground. Mistakes are not met with grace and talented people have been let go without transparency, creating a culture where speaking up feels like a risk not worth taking.

Friendly team but cut-throat leadership

Business Outlook

Pros

Most are approachable and friendly. Nice benefits.

Cons

There appears to be an increasing focus on questionable performance metrics, including AI adoption rather than the quality of work delivered, which has contributed to some concerning staffing decisions. Communication from leadership around workforce changes felt unclear and lacking empathy. The overall culture can feel quite cut-throat, with hiring and termination decisions appearing abrupt and disconnected from employee loyalty. Long and late hours.
