Pros
- Some awesome employees - Lots of freedom - Lots of nice people - Remote work options - Flexibility - CTO is a superb salesman - CTO and CEO are very experienced, lots of connections
Cons
- FastScore (a collection of Docker containers) is meant to streamline deployment, but often doesn't work - The Data Science Consulting (the "trojan horse") is mostly there to sell FastScore - Management frequently attempts, confusingly, to conflate FastScore and Machine Learning - Below market salaries - A degree of dishonesty from management, to both employees and customers - Machine Learning worship - Fail to distinguish areas of expertise and areas of mediocrity - Some members of management have surprisingly poor people skills
