Maybe the hours but honestly not worth it, take another job
Cons
Your a number and will never be seen as an person with skills and knowledge, the company actively seeks high staff turnover. If you are a woman expect to be undervalued and underpayed. Management will not speak or acknowledge you unless you are also management The owner has little to no clue what is going on and why everyone most the time is incredibly unhappy The company seeks to run like a corporate business and really doesn't care about their staff at all Bakery wise, there is no creative input and you just follow recipes to the word. Your input is not welcome and you will be told you know nothing Overtime is not paid nor classed as overtime (states in your contract) and doesn't seem to be an issue if your are constantly working passed your hours.
They want to hire very experienced staff and look like an artisan bakery, but it feels very corporate, just following instructions from a list of recipes. Bakers are shut down for voicing ideas for improvements. No creative outlet. Very repetitive, simple food. High staff turnover- people don't feel heard or appreciated.
