Interesting how this company randomly seems to get a flood of positive reviews within short periods of time. This company is very small and I have a hard time believing that the positive reviews are legitimate and coming from different people.
I had a very poor experience working here. I don't know of anyone who left this company on good terms. Turn over is alarmingly high and the pay is insulting.
I feel as if my hard work and willingness to learn was taken advantage of by the CEO and scientists. I was promised bonuses, learning opportunities, and opportunities to move up and grow when I interviewed. Despite my hard work and dedication, I never saw these promises materialize. When I would ask about said promises, I would be given excuses, further delays, or flat-out no's because of "poor performance". After leaving the company, I can clearly see now that there was absolutely no way for me to thrive in this company simply because management is not committed to helping employees grow.
People in the lab work 9am-7pm days. Business hours are 9-6, but we can't leave unless our work is done. I stayed as late as 10pm a number of times. Unfortunately, we have no control over our day-to-day tasks because they are given to us each morning. The task list is rarely short enough to complete within one day. The level of micromanagement here is outrageous.
We are allowed ONE thirty min lunch break. Nothing else. I don't think that's legal.
