      Pros

      Manhattan presence, good office access, average health plans offered.

      Cons

      The product is barely G/A and they seem clueless on how to respond to the market. There are legacy people here in Prof Services and Marketing that continue to bog the company down. Senior Management in Belgium will not make the moves to improve the US footprint. They once gave a sales guy a comp plan/quota that exceeded the entire revenue of the company for that year. To make this company go, they would need extensive VC, over $30m and its not in the cards.

      The co-workers are well meaning.

      Cons

      One of the most poorly managed companies I've ever come across. Management touts a lot about caring about their employees but very bottom line and give no budget to training and developing employees. No people management training but then penalize employees if they're not born leaders. No direction given. There is no room for advancement in the US, though that is where the majority of the sales and revenue is made. Need to be in Belgium to know what is going on and move up. Poor communication for a global company. Lots of politics and playing favorites. I would be surprised if the company is in business in the same way as they are now in a year or so. Need to pivot or rethink the business plan to survive. Just churning money now.

      Pros

      The people at NGDATA are great to work with. Passionate, fun, extremely smart. Global company, but with a small, family-like feel. Interesting and challenging work. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Growing pains, more communication and structure.
