I have been working at Namify part-time for more than a year

    Pros

So to start this off: I love this place. Everybody I’ve worked with has been amazing and keeps me here. My manager is one of the best people I’ve worked with and my co-workers keep me occupied mentally. The job is fairly easygoing, all and all a nice experience. Keeping employees happy with lunch on Monday and Wednesday was a great idea and the hydration station makes a great addition. I also love that we get certain...

    Cons

Like all places there are some sour apples when it comes to co-workers. Two come to mind, I won’t name them but I’ll say they did leave the worst reviews here. For example: the one claiming that she had to walk on eggshells was rather quite deceiving. She actually wanted to frame the new girl for a inpropperly made 500 tag order that she screwed up on. The reason for so was that she was about two steps away from being...

    Advice to Management

You’ve got a lot of great things going, I’d just maybe advise giving a few pay bumps to certain parts of the job. That or make more opportunities to push yourself forward. It’s much harder to go places in life if you aren’t allowed to move. Even add a little more competition in to push us further. One thing I’ve learned is that the human mind loves to make itself feel superior.

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

I really enjoy when I have stuff to do all day. It makes the day go by fast and there is never really any down time. I know some may not like that but it works really well for me! I really enjoy also the team that I work with. Its fun to have friends at work and Linda my manager is the best.

    Cons

Sometimes I just need a little more direction on the orders that I do. The sales team enters them in different ways so it can be a challenge to follow it all.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Its good to have work to do all the time and don't ever let Linda go!

I worked at Namify full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pay Scale keeps growing as you grow you revenue. It took me a couple years to grow to the point where I was making over 60K per year and the work to get there was pretty tough but rewarding. I spent 9 or so hours on average each day getting myself there. They did give me good leads so that helped out and the marketing team would help me with presentations as well. We got food a couple times a week which was nice....

    Cons

Work space for the sale team was pretty loud because its a large open work space. My boss was always busy working on jobs and different things so I did have to learn a lot on my own

    Advice to Management

Free up the Sales Manager to do more of the training and help the sales team with their accounts

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

This is the first company where I have actually felt cared about. I very much enjoy the people I work with because I know that I have true friends here. I enjoy the activities that we do throughout the month, they are always different and help refresh us from the mundane. The lunches have been top notch and I know that she always tried to have variety which is exciting for us. The CEO is very kind and giving. I've heard...

    Cons

Once something goes wrong on an order because of something in production then all of a sudden everyone knows about it and people are talking bad about them. Negativity is spread like wildfire and it's hard to be brought back from that.

    Advice to Management

More communications from departments and positivity. Even the VP's gang up against each other and then our teams see that and follow along. So more communication between VP's and having them talk to our teams about being unified instead of everyone out to get each other.

I have been working at Namify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Of all the places I have worked, none of them have had the kind of employees that Namify does. No matter what kind of problems or setbacks arise, there's never a shortage of hard work and determination from these people to get things back on track and running smoothly again. I really don't know if I can put into words how much I admire these kind of people keeping the company going.

    Cons

The higher-ups are another story. In general, the VPs give off a feeling of superiority. I don't mean in job title, but demeanor. They act inconvenienced or disinterested when you need something from them. The CEO just seems fake to me. He tries way too hard act like "one of the guys", and only bothers to learn about his employees as he's given a paper to read their achievements from when he decides to give them...

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

On the contrary to what will follow, there are strengths in Namify. The employees (not the management) are what make the company somewhat bearable to work for. These are the kindhearted, humble, non-higher up and motivated individuals who come into work with the attitude to finish the job. It is very admirable to see such great individuals push through various kinds of grunt work for such little reward. You are what keeps...

Things People Are Too Afraid To Say: - The 'training' at Namify is the equivalent of having an experienced surgeon give you a butter knife and then ask you to perform a coronary artery bypass. - I would sooner believe that the cure to cancer would be to eat mass amounts of Twix chocolate bars than believe a member of management who promises a raise. - Getting help at the DMV at their busiest hour is easier than receiving...

    Advice to Management

For a CEO who claims to always know what the reality is, it is sad to see you and so many other higher-ups completely miss some of the most important realities of being a supervisor. Those who work for you are not the expendable cattle that you see them as. They have lives; they have families; they have goals that they are trying to achieve. I'm positive that if you took just five seconds out of your daily eight hours...

I have been working at Namify full-time

    Pros

I can't speak for the company as a whole since I just work in production, but Namify has that sort of unspoken family vibe. I can tell everyone cares about each other and everyone is really kind. Production is really fun and it doesn't really feel like work if you're a crafty person. My manager is understanding and will adjust my schedule should something come up, and I feel comfortable talking to her if I have a concern....

    Cons

Occasionally sales reps can be salty, but it's understandable. Also, there are different names for the same product which can get confusing. Sometimes a bad egg will be hired which can cause problems within the workplace, or someone who doesn't have a good work ethic or not enough experience can slow things down.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! It's truly a pleasure working here (:

      Pros

You love be lied too about when you’re supposed to be getting a raise. If you get over looked for any and all advancements because you’re not Mormon enough. If your manager uses the, “N” word to describe why nobody is getting Martin Luthier King day off. If you dare make friends with someone who isn’t in the same department as you. If all you do is volunteer to go in early to get big orders done and are reliable everyday...

      Advice to Management

Don’t listen to everyone else but the person who is being attacked. Don’t make your employees feel as though they can’t come talk to you about anything. And if they do actually get to talk to you, listen to what they’re trying to say, don’t just blow them off.

I have been working at Namify full-time for more than a year

      Pros

I've been with Namify for a little over a year. I left a job I loved to come here full-time because of how much this company cares about me (and others) as a person. I can tell they truly care about their employees based on their incentives and personal encouragement. Cons

I agree with some of the earlier reviews that some people are hired with little to no experience in their positions - which causes headaches companywide. There are a few employees who get by with a bare-minimum effort or bad attitude, while the pressure to perform falls on others.

      Advice to Management

Don't put up with those who doesn't have the motivation/experience to carry their own weight. Namify deserves a team of all-stars!
