    Former Employee - Database Administrator

    I worked at NetCentrics full-time

    Pros

This is one of the best companies I've ever worked for. Great people, great moral, the company meetings are the best and I don't really care for meetings. They encourage you to grow and to learn more.

    Cons

Not a fan of the monthly pay schedule

    I worked at NetCentrics full-time

    Pros

The HSA company contribution was nice. The monthly reimbursement for parking / metro was also nice.

    Cons

$8,000 Non-network deductible for a single individual! $4,000 for in-network and no one is in network with the Cigna insurance that's offered. Horrible monthly paycheck schedule, therefore not allowing for full daily accrual and compounding interest in 401k and HSA investments. Employee turnover is very high. Unlike big name firms, the leadership here is not very technical and not engaged in onsite day to day operations.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the monthly pay cycle. No one is doing this in the industry, and it puts people off. The hardship in waiting a month to get paid is not necessary and there are smarter ways such as instituting a "leave bank" to spread out leave. Attraction and retention of top talent with what is currently offered is not possible. Achieving the company's vision of being an industry leader is not feasible without attraction...

I have been working at NetCentrics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

A company is made up of many parts and most important to me is the part that takes care of the employees. Because of that the biggest pro of this company is they have a fantastic HR department. I guess the other PRO is that they have leadership that is involved and cares about how operations work. They are also growing in a good manor.

    Cons

    Their work locations are limited

    Advice to Management

I have watched the interaction of the top managers and they make one heck of a team. My advice would be for them to keep doing what they are doing as it is making a great company.
