Pros
Everyone seemed like they wanted to help. The payments were always on time. Team bonding many times per week.
Cons
Really high expectations from junior - inexperienced - programmers. Even though the job was a 9 to 5 one, you had to put lots and lots of extra hours (3+ per day), even weekends, to complete certain tasks "off camera". That resulted in an continuous daily spiral of stress. The old programmers were always too busy to help, although they didn't even offer to in the first place. Diving in the deep from day one, with very little or no guidance at all, expecting you to "look for the answer alone" and delivering the task on time.
