Pros

1. Cooperative and friendly teammates. 2. On-time salary payment.

Cons

1. Restricted communication with overseas PMs and senior management. 2. No clear growth path or support for skill development. 3. Salary increments are not based on performance, with a maximum of 3500 BDT. In some cases, increments are denied without providing employees with a proper reason or report for the decision. 4. Rules and policies are changed anytime as per management’s convenience, without consulting employees, and even management is not consistent in following their own rules. 5. Promised benefits during hiring (leave, bonuses, etc.) were not actually given. 6. Power harassment exists through biased treatment and misuse of authority by local team managers and HR.

Pros

Pros: Ninja Digital Innovation is a new startup in Bangladesh. Before 2025, the same employees and management worked under the name BrandCloud Inc. (remote, with around 30+ Bangladeshi employees). Later in 2025, the company started operating locally in Bangladesh as Ninja Digital Innovation. 1. Salary is always paid on time without delay. 2. The engineering team members are generally friendly and polite. 3. Work pressure is very low. Often, you have free time to manage other personal things.

Cons

Cons: 1. Local HR and management often change commitments without clear notice, which can create uncertainty. HR professionalism doesn't exist when getting (e.g., salary certificates, NOC, employment certificate or other common documents) 2. Employees do not have a direct communication channel with the overseas management team. Feedback usually has to go through a local manager, which sometimes prevents concerns from being shared openly. 3. Favoritism exists within the local management. Some employees receive advantages (e.g., easier leave approval, late arrival tolerance), while rules are not applied equally to everyone. 4. Yearly salary increments are very low (usually only 500–3500 BDT). There is no consistent evaluation system, and the methods often change before increments. 5. Leave policy is unclear. HR sometimes communicates that employees will get both their own country and overseas holidays, but in practice, this is not consistent, and policies are not clearly documented. 6. Limited opportunities for technical growth. There is no structured training, regular coding discussions, or access to senior mentors with strong industry practices. 7. In meetings with the overseas management team, employees are sometimes restricted in what they can share. This makes it difficult to provide honest feedback, even though the overseas team generally encourages open communication. 8. Hiring decisions often seem influenced more by personal connections with local management than by technical skills or merit. 9. Promotions are often only in title and not linked to salary, bonus, or other benefits. Many roles exist (e.g., VPoE, Lead, Sub-Lead, AI Engineer, Backend Engineer), but the actual responsibilities do not always match the job title. For example, someone hired as an AI Engineer may spend most of their time on repetitive tasks like data scraping rather than core AI-related work. This mismatch can limit long-term career growth. 10. Remote work flexibility is very limited. Employees are sometimes required to provide evidence (e.g., a photo of heavy rain) to justify working from home, which can feel overly restrictive.
