Pros

Team cares about the cause, a lot of initial communication, lot of discussion of attempting to solve problems, everyone mostly willing to come to the table for discourse, senior management is involved in day-to-day

Cons

Follow through is lacking, constant restructuring in leadership, no clear operational structure leading to confusion over who owns initiatives and what your job role is, almost every decision must be run by every middle and senior level stakeholder leading too delays and last minute changes of work product

Pros

-Passionate and mission-driven colleagues who genuinely care about children and global impact -Hybrid/Remote flexibility depending on department and role -Field partners continue to do meaningful, life-changing work around the world.

Cons

-Leadership instability and repeated restructures have deeply eroded trust and clarity -Burnout is common due to shifting goals, poor change management, and lack of accountability -The way staff have been treated during the migration is disheartening— rushed expectations, ignored expertise, and little regard for the human toll. -The culture feels increasingly performative and is focused more on managing narratives than nurturing people or purpose.
