At OneShield, employees are treated as numbers—inputs into whatever metric leadership is focused on that week, whether it’s revenue per employee or the total number of AI bros. When your “number” no longer fits, you’re laid off. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, whether you consistently meet deadlines, put in long hours, or show genuine dedication. Those contributions don’t factor into their decisions. Leadership is focused on metrics, not people. Morale is low, and the environment is unstable. It’s difficult to feel secure and motivated when there’s a constant sense that any day could be your last, or that the next call might be from HR. Think very carefully before joining OneShield.

1. You will be working on their own proprietary software which will not at all help you grow in your skills. 2. Micromanagement - Each and every minute you log is in the work ticket and is strictly monitored. 3. Due to the proprietary software often times you will be stuck and there are no resources available online. The only option you have is ask your senior who is really busy most of the time. So you end up getting stuck at the ticket making no progress. 4. There is not much business coming in this company and mass layoffs are frequently happening.
