I would like to thank Jessica Lee, Divisional Sales Trainer at Optical Express, for her outstanding support and guidance. When I joined the company, Jess played a huge role in helping me settle into my new position. Her training was clear, engaging, and incredibly helpful, giving me the confidence and knowledge I needed to succeed from the start. She is brilliant at what she does. She is knowledgeable, professional, approachable, and always willing to support others. Her passion for training and developing people is evident in everything she does, and she consistently creates a positive and motivating learning environment. To conclude, Jess is truly deserving of recognition for the excellent work she does. I am very grateful for all her help and support, and I have learned a great deal from her. Pros

For the clinics I work in, the pace is easy to deal with and I like that this job is very patient focused and you can keep it one to one unlike a store environment. The training is well done, Jessica is a fantastic trainer and extremely helpful and supportive. My manager and team are all very understanding and supportive as well. The service we offer is good and I believe in the surgeries we provide and the technology behind it. As someone who has been in optics before, this has added to my knowledge and feel a career is fully achievable in this company and I feel my previous work and knowledge is respected and acknowledged by the team.

Cons

So far, management higher up could be a lot better, there doesn't feel like a consistent flow or a very well set up set of teams to contact for specific issues. Delegating work and patients also ends up in a hassle quite often and there is a lot of poor communication between teams, I think the whole company just needs better systems and have things more streamlined as currently the current processes are confusing and cause more issues than needed. Also SES is so old and could need an update as its systems are also very confusing.
