I have been working at Orthofix full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay. Good colleagues. Clear with expectations. Easy to come and just do your job and leave.

    Cons

Not a lot of room for growth. Upper management are full of themselves and could careless about employees beneath them. Extremely lean company which means a lot of work for you. All work, no play. No such thing as work-life balance. Morale is pretty low.

    Advice to Management

Actually care about those that work for you.

I have been working at Orthofix full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is competitive, some of the coworkers are really fun to be around. CFO is fantastic and engaged.

    Cons

No work life balance, lack of respect, experience sexual harrassment, not a place for parents of small children, completely unorganized, lack of communication, questionable ethics.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employee feedback, encourage more, mentor more, teach more, point fingers less. Get valid systems in place that work to prevent another restatement. Avoid "creative accounting." Too top heavy.

I worked at Orthofix full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

At the time-late 00's to early 12-solid management in my region. Great people, great products, great support, great benefits, great perks, & 60% + market share at the time.

    Cons

Corporate management & some regional management displayed questionable ethics as a lot of device companies do. From what I have heard this is in the rearview but it was a rough spot for them.

    Advice to Management

Preform your due diligence on the relationships some of your reps & managers have with doctors.

    I worked at Orthofix full-time

    Pros

Pay is great, hours are good, nice office and facilities. Vacation and time-off given is great as well. Company has potential if they'd equip the right people and listen to the voices on the floor.

    Cons

Ethical issues in management, sneaky management, unfairness across departments, they hire unqualified people and get rid of people they view as a threat or up & coming, they had me help build something in a project then let me go for a made-up, bogus reason all because they didn't try and work through real life issues & concerns

    Advice to Management

Train and equip your people and let them rise to the occasion
