Not a good place for ATs.

Pros

Pay and bonus pay only pros.

Cons

ATs are treated like 2nd class Healthcare providers. PTAs with an Associates degree can do more than ATs with a Masters. No room for advancement for ATs. If you like folding laundry and getting treated like a PTs lackey this is the place for you.

Thank you for sharing your perspective with us; we regret to learn this was your perception of the role that Certified Athletic Trainers play at Orthopedic One. We appreciate the feedback and are always seeking to provide a better experience to our associates. Certified Athletic Trainers provide value in many aspects of our practice, including our physician clinics, out-patient rehab clinics and sports medicine outreach. The average years of service for an AT with the practice is 7 years, and the varying roles are attractive to different individuals based on personal and professional priorities. We believe there are meaningful options available to Athletic Trainers in the practice. In fact, our Sports Medicine Outreach program is built around our Certified Athletic Trainers skills and ability to manage our patient athletes’ needs. In our outpatient rehabilitation clinics, it takes the whole team, working together as ONE, to deliver excellent experiences and superior quality of care to our patients. We value what every member of the team brings, regardless of education or licensure. Thank you for your service to Orthopedic One and for your feedback.
