      A lot of standing on your feet. Bad if you have lower back problem.

      Flexible job schedule. Average pay but terrible benefits and dispatch/HR does not care for guards individually.

      flexible schedule. easy to ask for time off work

      Cons

      No payed lunch. ONLY 30 MINUTES LUNCHES. No pto even if you have jury duty. If you need to request time off, be cautious that even if you've been at the same post for over a year, they will replace you. Despite getting approval for a vacation without pay, they need a guard to take your post and will just say "ohh well. you left so they get the post now" Leave this job for the elder men. If youre under 40, you can find a better job no problem!
